Bei der 2ten Generation ein anderes Werkzeug (V-Form) bei der Produktion verwendet für eine leichtere visuelle Ausrichtung (Montage).

Deshalb hat Tamiya USA keine Rückholaktion gestartet, da beide Motoren den selben hohen Produktionsstandard haben.

Terra Crusher Engine Sleeve Information

The Tamiya Terra Crusher nitro monster truck’s .18 engine is currently sold with a sleeve that has a square alignment notch or a V-shaped alignment notch. The later sleeves used a V-shaped tool during production to ease visual alignment. This is simply a direction indicator for correct alignment of the cylinder to crankcase with no other production differences. There is no cause for concern between the two types, as Tamiya Amercia, Inc. has not recalled either of these cylinder sleeves.
